Wicked Energy Drink: "

Designed by War Design | Illustration: Kian Forreal | Country: Australia

War teamed up with tattoo artist Kian Forreal to design P&N Beverages energy drink Wicked. Beautiful illustration and design aside, I love how this fits so well within the energy drink landscape while still being able to stand out and not look obnoxious like most of it’s competitors.

SSCC Paid $50.4 Million in Bonuses in 2009

An SEC filing shows that Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. paid about $50.4 million in bonuses last year — including $8.1 million to executives — and the company still owes about $1.18 million in property taxes to Missoula County, Mont., reports the Associated Press.

The filing signed Jan. 28 says Smurfit-Stone CEO Patrick Moore got more than $1.5 million in bonus pay in 2009. President and COO Steve Klinger took in nearly $1.1 million the same year. Smurfit-Stone spokesman Mike Mullin declined to say if the bonuses were paid out in cash or stock options or some combination.
"Bankruptcy Courts Allows Creditors to Vote for SSCC Plan"

A bankruptcy court has ruled that creditors can vote for Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. (SSCC)’s reorganization plan, a decision objected to by shareholders who believe that the packaging company is underestimating its value, Reuters reports.

Many of the creditors have indicated approval for the reorganization, but this could face a drawn-out challenge from shareholders.

Attorneys for two groups of shareholders have alleged a lack of information on how the company valued itself and the timeliness of its information.

Shareholders’ are concerned that Smurfit-Stone’s estimation of its value could lead to wrongly denying them a recovery.
