Is it not perfectly possible to recycle all paper cup waste now? Due to the PE / wax coating it is simply a matter of correct sorting the waste surely?
@Robert It is 'possible' but the systems in place are not set up to handle recycling in an effective way. While Starbucks continues to work on this aspect of the problem, the betacup is looking at the bigger picture, including ways to change consumer behavior.
